One-time CCMA (Canada Country Music Awards) award-winner Entertainer's of the Year Bud has driven his 35 year career with his country, rock, blues influenced drum mastery. Bud toured with Buddy Knox and the Party Dolls for over 6 years. Touring with the Ventures, Bobby Vee, Bobby Curtola, Ozark Mountain DareDevils, and many more great artists and groups.. Bud attended and graduated from Grant MacEwan College. Over 150 drummers started out on the music course and only 4 graduated the 2 year course. At the same time Bud hooked up with R. Harlen Smith of Royalty Records and helping home his studio skills working with such musicians as Chris Nielson (Baby Pictures) Gary Fjellgard (Me and Martin) and then met fellow musicians working in Edmonton's bands such as Southbound Freeway, 5 Star Band, Caribou, Penny, Kidd Country, DMT Allstars and Hal Whitford. Bud was signed with D.M.T. Records for over 10 years. His Manager was Danny Makurus Talent Agency. Bud has worked in Electric Ladyland Studios in New York, Little Mountain Studios in Vancouver, Prince's Studio's in Minneapolis, Sundown Studios in Edmonton just to name a few.... Toured with artists or groups: Jackie Gleason, Kansas, Marshall Tucker Band, Johnny Lee, Dick Contino, Kiss, Jethro Tull, Rod Stewart, just to name a few... I am retired from the road now and has a media and printing business with a great business partner Bill Smith (Hidden Missions) who happens to be a wicked session guitar player and is great song arranger too....along with Luke Davison (crazy-**** musician and phenominal blues guitar player, keyboard, drums, singer), we are working with Luke Davison Productions together - Audio Production and Engineering.
