Biography Born in Texas. Moved alot growing up, lived all over the US. Always the "new kid" with the strange name. Culture shock. Lonliness. Found and collected rocks and fossils. Built model cars on a serious level. BMOC due to football (Middle Linebacker), but didn't care much. Started plunking around on a bass guitar at 15 - loved that! Bought an Acoustic 371 at 16 and started playing school dances and private parties. Bought my first Ric 4001 bass at 17 and started playing local clubs. Met other players with great booking agents and soon playing the best clubs in town (Houston) by 18. Started doing more and more studio work. Through the years played with many Grammy winning and legenadary players. Went back to college at 23. Got degrees in Drafting, and Audio Production. Made movies on Super8 and 16mm film, later video, later still local TV production and direction. Worked as independent audio engineer and producer for a few years. Started working in art field. Computer animation in early 80s. Produced and directed indie films and music videos. Graphic design. Ad agencies. Started own design biz, then illustration. Came back to music in my late 40s. Now enjoying the wonders of the digital home studio and amazed with all the production capabilities that would have cost a million dollars just a few years ago. Trying to write instrumental music that's original, unique and with a sense of fire and emotion. Hit and miss, but it sure is fun trying! :)
