I'm a songwriter with a genuine mixed bag of material ...rock, pop, blues, ballads, country, comedy, inspirational, jazz, good cause songs, and thought provoking ones about tough issues.

Like most amateur songwriters no doubt, I'd love to make more money from doing what I'm passionate about..
In the past I've had many disappointments/near misses with my songs and have occasionally thought of giving up songwriting altogether. 

However, underneath, regardless of whether or not they're commercially viable, writing songs is what makes me tick, something I NEED to do, so I couldn't give up.

AMBITIONS (and the power of "visualising")
July 08....Being a Country girl at heart, I have for a long time, and against all the odds, "visualised" living in a lovely country village where everyone is friendly. I feel truly privileged that this huge, personal ambition has now been realised....

In the same way, where music is concerned, I'll continue writing, hopefully improving as I go along, and visualising a time when a song is picked up.... If it's not meant to be, I guess it just won't happen but it won't stop me trying!
 
Although we all know that much of the indie music we hear can beat the pants off a lot of mainstream music, one of my musical ambitions has still been to have a song played on a main BBC Radio Station.  This too has been realised recently so things really are interesting right now, (inspiration for new lyrics no doubt)

CO-WRITING
For the past few years, I've felt fortunate to have been co-writing with talented independent artists/writers from many countries.
They're all very different to one another, and because my material is so diverse anyway, this works well, and I value them all. I also feel very privileged that Jon Strong has produced the two co-writes with Paul Jeffery "Money" and "Through heartache"
