Biography I was a professional drummer for 15 of the last 35 or so years, playing clubs, concerts, and studio work. About 13 years ago I found it too limiting, so began writing around a midi keyboard setup and my computer. I spend most of my time developing piano and synthesizer lines for my music. My style is an eclectic mix of influences being a mix of Progressive, Psychedelic, Classic Rock, SciFi , Soundtracks, Classical, Jazz, New Age and Electronic music. Most songs are mixed genre ... but they do vary quite a bit, so if you don't find something you like, try something else. Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoy the musical journey. Brian |

Hey Brian,
I really appreciate the comments you left. Almost as much as I am digging your music---you obviously have the technical side down, a great ear and the "skeels" AKA chops to back it all up....Very nice! Lovin the chord choices too.

Hi Brian!
I am new to Mixposure and have been listening randomly to see what people are writing and discovered your music.
Great work! Your music is very refreshing, love how you have used your drumming experiences take the beautifully written melody lines and rhythms to a new emotional level. Very cool!

'Cool Cat'...
Hey I can almost see you from on top of Lake Superior here in Thunder Bay, Ontario. ...had many trips to & thru Wisconsin...not far away at all.
Like this subtle piano start; a bit mystical -lovely feel, -the guitar comes in like a friend would visit & reminice quietly together. The synth has the right sound for this... good easy percussion here also, like this quite alot, good to find a relaxing tune. Well composed, well thought through...the keys cascade with a slight pensivnesss that turns into a livelier groove; all the elements work so well; well focused each one sharing in with this great atmosphere; fine playing; love those keys.
Excellent tune. Fine arrangement. A fave. Your music does speak so well. A lot of feelinf
Thanks for the pleasure Brian.
Your new fan & friend also. -Vesa.

Got the cutting-out-track problem resolved. Thanks for the great review. I was enjoying "Image of Virgo," then decided to check out "Dancing with the Borg." Wow! It is obvious you're having way too much fun making all this cool music with all the great sound effects that range from heart-stopping whammies to soothing aural vistas. There is something here for our every mood - we'll be back.

The drum experience shines through as does you drummer nature. I like the use of the older style analog sounds. Lots of nice texture and contrasts.
An truly enjoyable "meow" the improv solo technique is great all round. And I liked the overall structure of the all peices, cool cat, mind of the... I listened to.

Brian is a drummer beyond my ability to understand, but he has become a keyboard player extraordinair. His music often surprises with the time signature variations that make ones chin drop. Superb musical skills combined with engineering ability that makes the most of his music.
A top professional in my humble opinion.

Thanks for commenting on 'Kick It!' I completely
agree about the beat needing to change in the
middle. I will be working on that in the next
mix. As usual I whipped it together quick and
posted the first mix :)
I really like your artist picture up there ^ very cool.
I will be hitting some of yours as I struggle to

Hey Brian.....I want to THANK YOU for sharing your music and allowing the downloads. This morning I made a CD with your songs, wrightdude, and a couple of others. I've been listening to it and I have to tell you....the quality of your music, production and performance is ABSOLUTELY SUPERB! Yea, prog-fusion is my favorite genre, so I'm biased...BUT!! I've been listeninmg to it since the 80's and I''ve heard TONS. You certainly are putting out TOP QUALITY Prog-Fusion music and it's GREATLY ENJOYED!! Listening in a preferred atmosphere, really allows the talent of ALL OMD artists to SHINE! Thanks!! Rob

I should have known. Only an ex drummer could be this twisted and talented. haha. Just be nice to all these guitar players, they have very fragile egos. Keep up the good work!
