Welcome to the New Mixposure everyone! I just wanted to take a few moments and share some information.

This site is not affiliated with the Mixposure of Old. I was a member there along with many of the existing members on this site. When Kyle let the domain go, we decided it would be a great idea to buy it. We tried to buy it from Kyle but he did not return our call. Instead we purchased it from a third party vendor.

That being said, are we the same as the Mixposure of old? Yes and No. Yes in that we provide a lot of the same features and No because we provide a lot of features that the old Mix did not offer.

I know some people had a great experience with the old Mixposure. Kyle built a great place for many musicians to hang their hat. It was ashame that it went down the way it did. Like the Phoenix though, Mixposure has risen again from out of the ashes. This time under new management and a team of dedicated musicians/moderators to make your experience a positive one.

Oh additionally, if you have links on the internet to your old mix page, make sure you use the same band name so your links become active again. If you are an existing member here and need a name change, please let me know.

It is so nice to see all the reviews that are being done around here. I want to thank all of you for devoting your time to other people's music! I know we all have our own music to write so it is greatly appreciated that you are reviewing the music of Mixposure!

As a reminder, the Same Song Title Madness has a due date of August 2nd. Please do not post them! Let's get them uploaded to Mike K and we will play them on his Saturday Night Rocks Radio Broadcast! More details will be coming in the forum.

If you have not done one before, here is how it works. The winning title was "I Know Trouble" so the idea is everyone creates a song using that title. Vocals are not mandatory but help sell the song a little better. This is a great way to Collaborate with fellow musicians here. The idea is we get numerous genres around a common theme.

I dare say that my audience is becoming a bit spoiled in expecting nothing but the best in Indie Artist's music when it comes to "Saturday Night Rocks" and the "Mix Radio Center Stage Presentation", correct? I know that some of our Mixposure members have placed their guesses as to who the next CSP will be in the General Chat - Mix Center Stage Presentation thread within the Mix Radio DJ's Corner Forum . Gina (WildHoneyPie) had the Genre right in one of her guesses and Blake from TCP actually had the artist right (the first choice of his two guesses). It's just a fun little thing we do between shows!

Without further delay, "Interactive Radio" on Mix Radio is proud to present the next Artist up for the "Mix Radio Center Stage Presentation" during my Saturday Night Rocks show on July 26, 2008: none other than the project (I suppose you can call it that) known as Aimless Sessions. Jazz at it's finest!!!

If Aimless Sessions has a "Band Leader", it would be whom you know as White Chameleon. Many in the Indie Music Scene also know him as Markku. I have been familiar with Markku's music for a few years now and am excited that we get to know him and those who work with him on the great tunes Aimless Sessions produces just a little bit better. This will be another great CSP - I can guarantee it!

So, please tune in to Mix Radio, the "Interactive Radio" via Mixposure.com at 8 pm Eastern Time - USA and join us in the Chat Room for some fun chat during the show! There's always a great crowd hanging out, so don't be shy and come on in! In addition to Aimless Sessions great Center Stage Presentation, I will bring you a great mix of Independent Artist's music from all over the world! After all, Mixposure is not only the home, but also the "future of Independent Music"!!!

The show is all set up and ready to go. Song requests during the show will be appended to what I have already set up. I have been digging and found some gems I want to share with the listeners.

One of the cool things about the Mixposure Artist Theme is that you can customize it.

In your Control Panel, click the Customize Your Site icon. This displays your theme layout colors. If you want to add a customized background, upload an image to Photoucket and link to it from within the theme. There are a variety of things you can do in here, play around with it to get a feel for it. If you are proficient with HTML, you can also click on the advanced view for more options.

One of the other options is to click on View Shared Skins. This can also be a great starter point for some people. You can use one of the existing shared skins and modify it to however you want.

I am thinking we need to do a contest for coolest theme. Anyone up for this?
